We do not strive to be the biggest software company in the world, but we do want to be the best. That means the best software, the best education, the best consulting services, and the best support. |
E/Step Software offers its software clients consulting services to help implement, manage or maximize the effectiveness of FGS. E/Step's consultants are engineers who have spent years in the trenches, first as FGS users at client sites, then as consultants, with FGS experience in a wide variety of industries.
Forecasting and inventory planning is a science. Like any science, it has concepts and rules that can be learned and applied. Once you know it, you can turn it to your advantage, using its concepts to raise service and cut inventory. Education is the first step in putting FGS to work for you. E/Step Software conducts workshops several times per year that teach you everything you need to know to get started with FGS. These workshops cover both the forecasting/inventory planning concepts and the practical details of running FGS. They can be onsite or off, depending on your requirements. Onsite workshops can be customized to your particular requirements and can be taught using your data.
There are three types of workshops available (in addition to customized workshops):
Our instructor and Director of Training, Robert M. Duncan, CFPIM, has been an FGS user since 1989. He has been teaching FGS workshops since 1992. As a consultant he has helped many companies start up or improve their FGS implementations.
If you are hesitant to implement unfamiliar technology, or you don't have personnel to run FGS just yet, you can outsource your forecasting and inventory planning to E/Step Software. We can get you up and running quickly. Our professionals will implement and operate FGS for you, using your data, providing reports and files to interface to your planning systems, and reviewing results with you via web conferences. When you're ready, if you want, you can take over and run FGS yourself.
We are committed to giving our clients extraordinary customer support. That means we don't just answer your questions; we ask what are the business reasons behind your questions. That way we make certain you are using the right tools in the right way for your particular environment. Our support services include product support (enhancements and bug fixes) and technical support (via phone, e-mail, and web conference).
